Spatial Display is provided by Lith Games OÜ (“Lith Games,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected when you use:
- the Spatial Display application for iPhone;
- the Spatial Display Server application for Mac;
- the device-pairing, signaling, subscription, and support services associated with Spatial Display; and
- the Spatial Display pages on the Lith Games website.
By using Spatial Display, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
1.1 Account Information
Spatial Display requires an account so that an iPhone can securely find and connect to Macs belonging to the same user.
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we may receive:
- your name;
- your email address, including a private relay address if you choose Hide My Email;
- the identifier assigned to your account by the sign-in provider;
- a Firebase user identifier; and
- authentication tokens required to maintain your signed-in session.
We do not receive or store your Apple ID or Google account password.
1.2 Device and Connection Information
To provide device discovery, pairing, connection recovery, compatibility checks, and technical support, we may process:
- a randomly generated device identifier;
- the name of the Mac or a generic iPhone device name;
- application version and protocol version;
- selected display identifiers and display configuration;
- connection status and session identifiers;
- network category, such as Wi-Fi, cellular, or offline;
- Internet Protocol address and network routing information normally transmitted when connecting to an online service;
- WebRTC connection information, including ICE candidates and connection diagnostics; and
- the hardware addresses required for the user-initiated Wake-on-LAN feature, if that feature is available and enabled.
A Mac device identifier is stored locally so that the same Mac can be recognized between launches. Wake-on-LAN information is made available only to a receiver authenticated with the same Spatial Display account.
1.3 Screen, Audio, and Input Data
During an active remote-display session, Spatial Display processes:
- video frames from the Mac displays selected by the user;
- Mac system audio, if Share Mac Audio is enabled;
- pointer coordinates and mouse-button actions;
- keyboard input and modifier keys;
- touch and gesture commands; and
- system-action commands, such as Mission Control or Show Desktop.
Screen, audio, keyboard, pointer, and gesture data are transmitted only as necessary to provide the active session.
Spatial Display uses encrypted WebRTC connections. Whenever network conditions permit, media and input travel directly between the user’s iPhone and Mac. If a direct connection cannot be established, encrypted WebRTC packets may be relayed through a TURN server.
Lith Games does not record or store the contents of your Mac screen, Mac audio, keyboard input, pointer input, or transmitted files on its servers.
The signaling service temporarily processes the technical messages required to authenticate devices, list available Macs, negotiate a WebRTC connection, and recover a failed connection.
1.4 Subscription and Purchase Information
Spatial Display Pro subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s App Store.
We may process:
- the purchased product identifier;
- transaction and original transaction identifiers;
- subscription status and expiration date;
- signed App Store transaction information used for server-side validation;
- subscription revocation or renewal status; and
- the Spatial Display account associated with the subscription.
Apple processes all payment and billing information. Lith Games does not receive or store your complete payment-card details.
For free-tier enforcement, we process the amount of local-network and remote-network usage associated with your Spatial Display account for the applicable usage period.
1.5 Analytics and App Events
We use analytics to understand whether the application works correctly and how its main features are used.
Analytics events may include:
- successful authentication and the selected sign-in method;
- connection attempts, successes, failures, and duration;
- the number of connected displays;
- whether the connection used Wi-Fi or cellular data;
- tutorial starts, completion, skipped steps, and completion time;
- changes to selected application settings;
- subscription-screen impressions;
- purchase, restore, pending, cancellation, and validation outcomes;
- free-tier quota exhaustion; and
- application activation and installation-attribution events.
These events do not contain the contents of your Mac screen, Mac audio, typed text, pointer coordinates, or the content of files and applications viewed through Spatial Display.
We currently use Firebase Analytics and Meta App Events for product analytics and campaign measurement. These providers may process device, application, event, and approximate network information according to their own privacy policies and our configuration of their services.
Where required by applicable law or Apple platform rules, access to an advertising identifier or cross-app tracking is subject to the user’s permission. You can change tracking permissions in the Privacy & Security settings of your device.
1.6 Support Communications
If you contact us for support, we may collect:
- your name and email address;
- the contents of your message;
- screenshots, logs, or diagnostics you voluntarily provide; and
- any other information you choose to include.
Do not send passwords, payment-card details, or confidential screen contents in a support request.
2. DEVICE PERMISSIONS
Spatial Display may request the following permissions.
Camera
The iPhone camera and AR tracking system are used to estimate the position and orientation of the device so that virtual monitors remain spatially positioned.
Spatial Display does not use the camera to take photographs or record videos, and camera images are not transmitted to Lith Games.
Local Network
Local-network access is used to find and connect to the user’s Mac, establish local WebRTC connectivity, and support approved local-network features.
Screen Recording
On macOS, Screen Recording permission allows Spatial Display Server to capture only the displays selected by the user.
Accessibility
On macOS, Accessibility permission allows Spatial Display Server to apply pointer, keyboard, scrolling, and system-action input received from the authenticated iPhone.
Mac System Audio
Mac system audio is captured only when Screen Sharing is active and Share Mac Audio is enabled.
Notifications, microphone access, contacts, photos, and precise location are not required for Spatial Display’s core remote-display functionality.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to:
- authenticate users;
- pair an iPhone with Macs belonging to the same account;
- establish and maintain remote-display sessions;
- transmit screen, audio, pointer, keyboard, and gesture data;
- list and select available Macs;
- recover connections after network changes;
- enforce free-tier limits;
- validate and manage Spatial Display Pro subscriptions;
- provide customer support;
- diagnose failures and improve performance;
- measure onboarding and feature usage;
- measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns;
- prevent misuse, fraud, and unauthorized access; and
- comply with legal obligations.
4. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information.
We may disclose information to the following service providers when necessary to operate Spatial Display:
- Apple, for Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, subscription management, and platform services;
- Google and Firebase, for authentication and analytics;
- Meta, for app activation, installation attribution, and campaign measurement;
- Amazon Web Services and infrastructure providers, for hosting signaling and relay services;
- WebRTC, STUN, and TURN infrastructure providers, for connection establishment and encrypted traffic relay;
- technical and professional service providers acting on our instructions; and
- public authorities when disclosure is required by applicable law.
Our service providers are permitted to process information only for the applicable services or under their respective legally permitted roles. We require parties processing data on our behalf to provide protections consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
5. DATA RETENTION
We retain account information while your Spatial Display account remains active.
Connection-negotiation information is retained only as needed to establish and troubleshoot sessions, unless a longer period is required for security or legal purposes.
Daily free-tier usage records may be retained for account-level quota enforcement and service administration.
Subscription and transaction records may be retained after account deletion when necessary to validate entitlements, process renewals or refunds, prevent subscription fraud, resolve disputes, and comply with tax, accounting, or legal obligations.
Analytics data is retained according to our configured retention periods with the applicable analytics provider.
Support communications are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and maintain an appropriate support record.
When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, and financial-record obligations.
6. ACCOUNT DELETION AND PRIVACY CHOICES
You can delete your Spatial Display account directly from the application:
- Open Spatial Display Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm your identity using the sign-in provider.
- Confirm permanent deletion.
The Mac application also provides a Delete Account action in Settings.
Deleting the account removes the associated authentication account and revokes the applicable Sign in with Apple authorization where required.
Some subscription transaction records may be retained for the purposes described in Section 5. Deleting a Spatial Display account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.
To cancel or manage a subscription:
- Open iPhone Settings.
- Tap your Apple Account.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select Spatial Display.
You may also contact us at info@lithgames.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that cannot be managed inside the application.
You can revoke application permissions through the Privacy & Security settings of your iPhone or Mac. Revoking a permission may prevent the associated feature from working.
7. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Lith Games OÜ is based in Estonia. Our service providers and infrastructure may process information in the European Economic Area, the United States, and other countries.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, including contractual protections or legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
8. SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including authenticated sessions, encrypted network transport, restricted server access, and separation between user accounts.
No Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting access to their iPhone, Mac, Apple account, Google account, and Spatial Display account.
9. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Spatial Display is not directed to children under 13 and is not designed for use by children without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact info@lithgames.com.
10. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- access personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate information;
- request deletion;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent;
- receive a portable copy of certain information; and
- lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.
To submit a request, contact info@lithgames.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.
11. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND PROTECTED MEDIA
Some applications and streaming services use digital-rights-management technologies that prevent protected video from being captured while Screen Sharing is active. Protected content may therefore appear black.
Spatial Display does not attempt to bypass or interfere with digital-rights-management protections.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Spatial Display, our service providers, or legal requirements.
We will publish the updated policy with a revised Last Updated date. If a change materially affects how personal information is processed, we will provide additional notice where required.
