Terms of Use

The terms governing Spatial Display, Spatial Display Server, and related services.

Effective DateAugust 28, 2026 Last UpdatedAugust 28, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Spatial Display, Spatial Display Server, and the related services provided by Lith Games OÜ (“Lith Games,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, installing, accessing, purchasing, or using Spatial Display, you agree to these Terms.

The license to the Spatial Display applications is also governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”), available at:

https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

If these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA regarding the licensed application, the Apple Standard EULA controls to the extent of that conflict.

1. THE SERVICE

Spatial Display allows a user to:

  • capture selected displays from a Mac;
  • transmit those displays to an authenticated iPhone;
  • optionally transmit Mac system audio;
  • send pointer, keyboard, gesture, scrolling, and system-action commands back to the Mac;
  • connect over a local network or the Internet;
  • manage one or more Macs associated with the same account; and
  • purchase optional Spatial Display Pro functionality.

Spatial Display consists of an iPhone application, a Mac companion application, and related authentication, signaling, relay, subscription-validation, and support services.

Spatial Display does not create an additional macOS virtual display unless a future version explicitly states otherwise. It displays the existing Mac screens selected by the user.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms.

If you are under the age of legal majority in your country, you may use Spatial Display only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

You may use Spatial Display only on devices and accounts that you own or are expressly authorized to access and control.

3. ACCOUNTS

Spatial Display uses Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In to create and authenticate an account.

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the security of your Apple or Google account;
  • protecting physical and remote access to your iPhone and Mac;
  • keeping your devices and operating systems reasonably secure;
  • all activity performed through your authenticated Spatial Display account; and
  • notifying us if you believe your account or device has been compromised.

You may not transfer, sell, rent, or share an account in a way that enables unauthorized access to a Mac or another person’s data.

4. REQUIRED PERMISSIONS

Spatial Display requires certain device permissions to provide its core functionality.

These may include:

  • Camera and AR tracking permission on iPhone;
  • Local Network permission on iPhone;
  • Screen Recording permission on Mac; and
  • Accessibility permission on Mac.

If you deny or revoke a required permission, some or all features may stop working.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to capture, view, transmit, and control the content displayed on a connected Mac.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

You may not use Spatial Display to:

  • access or control a device without the owner’s authorization;
  • monitor another person without their knowledge or lawful authority;
  • capture, intercept, distribute, or disclose confidential information unlawfully;
  • violate copyrights, privacy rights, employment obligations, or other rights;
  • bypass digital-rights-management, copy-protection, access-control, or security technologies;
  • distribute malware or interfere with devices, networks, accounts, or services;
  • overload, probe, scan, reverse engineer, or attack our infrastructure;
  • resell or provide unauthorized commercial access to the service;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent device ownership; or
  • use the service in violation of applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe an account is being used unlawfully, fraudulently, or in a way that threatens users, devices, or the service.

6. FREE ACCESS AND SPATIAL DISPLAY PRO

Spatial Display may offer limited free use and an optional Spatial Display Pro subscription.

The current free limits, Pro features, subscription periods, and prices are displayed in the application before purchase.

Spatial Display Pro may include:

  • unlimited local and remote connection time, subject to reasonable service operation;
  • access to every selected and supported Mac display;
  • removal of free-tier usage restrictions; and
  • other Pro features identified in the purchase interface.

Features may differ by application version, device capability, operating system, network condition, or region.

We will not materially reduce the paid entitlement during an active subscription period without providing the remedies required by applicable law.

7. AUTO-RENEWABLE SUBSCRIPTIONS

Spatial Display Pro may be available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription.

Before purchase, the application displays:

  • the subscription name;
  • the subscription duration;
  • the price and applicable currency;
  • the principal included features; and
  • links to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account after confirmation of purchase.

Unless canceled, the subscription automatically renews for another subscription period. Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel the subscription through:

iPhone Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions > Spatial Display

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Deleting the Spatial Display application or account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.

Any free trial, introductory price, or promotional offer is governed by the terms displayed at the time of purchase.

8. RESTORE PURCHASES

You may use Restore Purchases in the application to restore an eligible Spatial Display Pro entitlement associated with your Apple Account.

A subscription may also be associated with the authenticated Spatial Display account for entitlement validation and multi-device access.

You may not associate the same subscription with unrelated accounts or attempt to transfer an entitlement contrary to App Store rules.

9. REFUNDS

Apple processes App Store payments and refund requests.

Lith Games cannot directly issue refunds for transactions processed by Apple. You may request a refund through Apple’s applicable support and purchase-history services.

Nothing in these Terms limits refund, cancellation, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. NETWORK AND DATA USAGE

Spatial Display transmits video, audio, and input over local networks or the Internet.

You are responsible for:

  • Internet and cellular-data charges;
  • router, firewall, VPN, and network configuration;
  • maintaining sufficient bandwidth;
  • any limits imposed by your network provider; and
  • securing the networks you use.

High-resolution and multi-display streaming may consume significant bandwidth.

WebRTC attempts to create a direct encrypted connection. When direct connectivity is unavailable, encrypted traffic may be relayed through a TURN server.

11. AVAILABILITY AND COMPATIBILITY

We do not guarantee that Spatial Display will be available without interruption or compatible with every device, display, network, VPN, firewall, application, audio device, or operating-system version.

Connections may be interrupted by:

  • device sleep or shutdown;
  • closing a MacBook lid;
  • network changes;
  • router or firewall restrictions;
  • operating-system permissions;
  • software updates;
  • service maintenance;
  • incompatible application protocol versions; or
  • third-party outages.

Spatial Display may automatically reconnect or recover from certain failures, but successful recovery is not guaranteed.

12. PROTECTED CONTENT

Streaming services and other applications may use digital-rights-management or protected-video technologies.

Protected video may stop playing or appear black while Screen Sharing is active. Spatial Display does not bypass these protections and does not guarantee that protected media can be viewed remotely.

You must not use Spatial Display to defeat or circumvent content protection.

13. SLEEP AND REMOTE AVAILABILITY

Spatial Display Server may prevent idle sleep while Screen Sharing is active if the applicable setting is enabled.

This does not guarantee that a Mac remains available under all circumstances.

In particular:

  • manually selecting Sleep can suspend the Mac;
  • shutting down the Mac makes it unavailable;
  • closing a MacBook lid may cause sleep;
  • loss of power or network connectivity ends remote availability; and
  • system policies may override application behavior.

You remain responsible for your Mac’s power, security, and sleep configuration.

14. UPDATES

We may release updates to improve security, compatibility, performance, or functionality.

An update to either the iPhone application or Mac companion may require updating the other application. Incompatible protocol versions may be prevented from connecting.

We may discontinue support for obsolete application or operating-system versions after reasonable notice where practicable.

15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Spatial Display, Spatial Display Server, their software, branding, graphics, interfaces, documentation, and services are owned by Lith Games or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms grant you only a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA.

No ownership rights are transferred to you.

16. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Spatial Display depends on services and frameworks provided by third parties, including Apple, Google, Firebase, Meta, cloud-infrastructure providers, and networking providers.

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

17. FEEDBACK

If you send suggestions or feedback, you grant Lith Games permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation, provided that we do not publicly identify you without permission.

18. DISCLAIMER

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spatial Display is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.

We do not warrant that:

  • a connection will always be peer-to-peer;
  • latency, image quality, or audio quality will meet a particular level;
  • every Mac application can be remotely controlled;
  • protected video can be displayed;
  • a sleeping or powered-off Mac can be reached; or
  • the service will be suitable for emergency, medical, safety-critical, industrial-control, or other high-risk use.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

19. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lith Games will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, business, access, or device availability arising from Spatial Display.

Where liability cannot be excluded, Lith Games’ total liability relating to the service will not exceed the greater of:

  • the amount you paid for Spatial Display during the twelve months preceding the claim; or
  • the minimum amount required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

20. TERMINATION

You may stop using Spatial Display at any time and may delete your account through the application.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • you materially violate these Terms;
  • your use creates a security or legal risk;
  • payment or entitlement information is fraudulent;
  • we are required to do so by law; or
  • continued provision of the service is no longer reasonably possible.

Termination does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. Subscription cancellation must be completed through Apple.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination remain effective, including intellectual-property, payment, disclaimer, liability, and dispute provisions.

21. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the law of your country of residence.

Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts determined under applicable consumer and jurisdictional law.

22. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, law, security requirements, or business practices.

The updated Terms will be published with a revised Last Updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request renewed acceptance.
